Our plans for the 2008-2009 season include
- our three dinner meetings on current issues of concern;
- the needs of newcomers to Canada (fall meeting);
- reducing poverty in our region and in our province (winter meeting); and
- seeking new ways to live in harmony with our ecological environment (spring meeting).
- participation in the 28th annual World Religions Conference (Sunday, October 26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the University of Waterloo: go to www.worldreligionsconference.org for details);
- working in partnership with Interfaith Grand River and the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo in planning and sponsoring of the Annual Community Prayer Breakfast (Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 7 a.m. at the Waterloo Inn);
- continuing our sponsorship of Interfaith Grand River, a monthly forum for all faith groups in Waterloo Region (www.interfaithgrandriver.org).
